Please Do Not Try This At Home…

Hi Everyone!

Making soap is truly a labour of love, mostly because of the amount of time that goes into this process. Yesterday, I went through the first 5 steps involved in making these magical bars of goodness. Now, here are the 5 final steps;

Step 6: Remove double boiler, add fresh ingredients (strawberries, yuzu, lemon and the list goes on…), essential oils and colour.

Step 7: Scoop into molds and let sit for 24 hours.

Step 8: Manually cut soap into bars and let bars sit for another 24 hours.

Step 9: Wrap bars of soap in eucalyptus paper (which is compostable & 100% biodegradable btw).

Step 10: Label, weigh and price bars of soap.

There you have it! Those are the many steps involved in making our soap. Who would have thought that there would be this many? So, the next time you use a bar of our soap in the bath or shower, you will now know what goes into making it. Pretty amazing isn’t it? Don’t forget – it’s always best to keep your soap in a soap saver to make it last longer.

Aloha!
